Dick DuBois, president of Jo To Go America, Inc, reports that nine years ago he made his first “crazy business idea” into a reality when he opened the Jo To Go Coffee location on Radisson Way. The basic premise of Jo To Go Coffee was simple: serve fast, fabulous coffee drinks with a healthy dose of fun to people on the go. DuBois was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year in the year 2000 after his idea took flight, and he is now in the process of franchising his concept on a national level.
“Nine years later you might say I’ve had another lightning bolt idea,” commented DuBois. “We’ve remodeled that first Jo To Go Coffee location and are reopening with a completely new business concept, Taco Flamingo.”
The Co-Brand Concept
The new co-brand to Jo To Go Coffee has been launched at the Radisson Street location in Green Bay, Wisconsin. According to company research, Jo To Go Coffee is the first national coffee business to initiate a completely unique co-brand. The Taco Flamingo/Jo To Go Coffee pairing serves the breakfast, afternoon and evening dayparts, a move which DuBois believes will enhance the customer base for future franchisees.
The Jo To Go Coffee element of the co-branded team continues to offer the fabulous specialty coffee drinks and bakery for which the coffee franchise has become known. Taco Flamingo is a quick service drive-thru offering authentic Mexican grill fare with breakfast, lunch and dinner options for the whole family.
